SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (September 24, 2021) – The Brucebilt Iron-Man Open Wheel Series WILL NOT sanction the event tomorrow night (Saturday, September 25) at Volunteer Speedway. We are short staffed right now, one official under the weather, others working, we felt it best with a joint decision with the track and series to cancel our part of the event tomorrow night. However, Volunteer Speedway will race a “regular show” for the Open Wheel Modifieds during the Sprint Car weekend. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we appreciate the support of the drivers, teams, fans and sponsors of the series.
The next events for the Open Wheel Series will be on October 8/9 at Boyd’s Speedway for a huge weekend of action!
