Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Northern Series Adds Events at Portsmouth Raceway Park

PORTSMOUTH, OHIO (January 15, 2022)—The Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Northern Series is proud to announce two additions to the 2022 Northern Late Model tour at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio.

The series will visit Portsmouth Raceway Park for the first of two visits on Saturday June 18 for the Annual Charlie Swartz Classic paying $5,000-to-win and $450-to-start. This event will be part of the 5th Annual Dean Knittel Memorial paying $20,554-to-win during the Ohio Sprint Speedweek Finale sanctioned by the FloRacing Allstar Circuit of Champions.

The second date of the Valvoline Iron-Man Late Model Northern Series at Portsmouth will include the sanction of the 11th Annual Boone Coleman Memorial Gator 50 event paying $5,000-to-win and $450-to-start on Saturday July 30. In addition, the Brucebilt Iron-Man Open Wheel Modified Series (UMP) will sanction the Modified portion of the Boone Coleman Memorial event paying $1,200-to-win. The 2022 Modified schedule will be released in the coming days.
